Returns, Exchanges and Order Cancellations
By placing an order with House of Huda, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted this Return, Exchange, Cancellation and Product Disclaimer Policy.

All preorder, made-to-order, custom-sized, custom-stitched and otherwise altered products are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once processing has begun.
A preorder may be cancelled only within 24 hours of purchase, provided that the order has not entered sourcing, stitching, customization or fulfillment.
Estimated preorder and dispatch dates are estimates and are not guaranteed event-delivery dates. Customers should allow sufficient time when ordering for a wedding, holiday or special event.
Sale, clearance and outlet products
All sale, clearance, promotional, outlet and specially discounted products are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Store credit expires one year from the date of issuance and is not redeemable for cash.
2. Incorrect or materially defective items
The customer must inspect the order immediately after delivery.
Claims involving an incorrect item or a material manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support@houseofhuda.com.
The email must include:
- Order number
- Clear photographs of the complete front and back of the item
- Close-up photographs of the reported concern
- Photographs of the original packaging and shipping label
- A clear unedited video showing the item and reported issue, when requested
The item must not be worn, washed, dry-cleaned, altered, stitched further or repaired before House of Huda reviews the claim.
House of Huda reserves the right to inspect the item before determining whether a product has a qualifying material defect.
When a qualifying defect or shipping error is confirmed, House of Huda may, at its discretion:
- Arrange a repair;
- Provide a replacement;
- Issue store credit; or
- Issue a refund to the original payment method when repair or replacement is unavailable.
Minor variations and characteristics described under the Product Disclaimer below are not considered material defects.
Product Disclaimer: Embroidery, Handwork and Designer Garments
House of Huda carries products created by independent Pakistani and South Asian designers. Many garments are produced in limited or bulk collections and incorporate machine embroidery, hand embroidery, appliqué, cutwork, sequins, beads, crystals, stones, pearls, tassels, metallic thread and other delicate embellishments.
Due to the handcrafted and production-based nature of these garments, minor variations and finishing characteristics may occur.
The following are not ordinarily considered defects:
- Loose, extended or untrimmed embroidery threads, particularly on the reverse or interior of embroidered panels
- Minor thread ends resulting from machine embroidery, overlocking, tailoring or finishing
- The displacement or loss of a small number of beads, sequins, pearls, stones or other embellishments
- Minor irregularities in hand embroidery, hand-applied embellishments, stitching or pattern placement
- Slight differences in embroidery density, motif placement or embellishment placement
- Minor chalk, tracing or tailoring marks that can be removed through appropriate professional care
- Variations in color, texture, dye, fabric weave or sheen caused by photography, lighting, screen settings or production batches
- Minor differences between the original designer campaign image and the delivered garment
- Visible threadwork, backing, knots or finishing on the inside of embroidered garments
- Minor pulls or movement in delicate chiffon, net, organza, tissue, silk, lace or embroidered fabrics
- Up to approximately 5%–10% variation in handcrafted details, measurements, colors or finish
Unstitched embroidered panels are manufactured with excess thread, embroidery backing and finishing material intended to be trimmed, secured and finished during the stitching process. Their appearance before stitching may differ from the final modeled garment.
A garment will not be considered defective merely because it contains minor loose threads, a displaced embellishment, a removable finishing mark or another normal characteristic of handmade, machine-embroidered or embellished clothing.
This disclaimer does not exclude a genuinely substantial manufacturing defect that makes the garment materially different from the product ordered or prevents normal use.
Care instructions
All embellished, embroidered and formal garments should be handled delicately and professionally dry-cleaned only. House of Huda is not responsible for damage caused by washing, soaking, ironing directly over embellishments, improper storage, perfume, friction, snagging, alteration or normal wear.
3. Event dates and delivery estimates
House of Huda does not guarantee delivery by a customer’s personal event date unless a written guaranteed-delivery service has specifically been purchased and confirmed.
A customer’s decision to purchase another garment, change their event plans or no longer need the order does not make an otherwise conforming order defective or refundable.
Orders shipped within the disclosed processing or preorder window are not considered late.
4. Refused and unclaimed packages
Refusing delivery, failing to collect a package or returning a package without authorization does not automatically qualify the order for a refund.
Any shipping, return-to-sender, customs, handling and restocking expenses may be deducted from any credit approved by House of Huda.
5. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact House of Huda directly and allow a reasonable opportunity to inspect and resolve any concern.
Initiating a payment dispute does not replace the requirement to return merchandise when return of the merchandise is required by the card issuer or House of Huda.
House of Huda reserves the right to provide the customer’s order information, delivery confirmation, policy acceptance, communications, photographs and return history to the payment processor and issuing bank when responding to a payment dispute.
