House of Huda carries Pakistani and South Asian designer clothing, including unstitched, stitched, ready-to-ship, preorder, customized and embellished garments.
Many of our products are created using machine embroidery, hand embroidery, beads, sequins, pearls, stones, crystals, lace, appliqué, cutwork, metallic thread, tassels and other delicate materials.
Because these products may be handmade, machine-embroidered, bulk-produced, stitched and transported internationally, minor variations and finishing characteristics may naturally occur.
Normal Product Characteristics
Unless substantial enough to materially impair the garment, the following are not ordinarily considered manufacturing defects:
- Loose, extended or untrimmed embroidery threads;
- Thread ends visible on the inside or reverse of embroidered panels;
- Visible knots, backing or threadwork on the interior;
- Minor irregularities in embroidery, stitching or hand-applied embellishments;
- Slight differences in motif, lace or embellishment placement;
- Minor displacement or loss of a limited number of beads, sequins, pearls, stones or crystals;
- Unfinished edges on unstitched fabric or embroidered panels;
- Minor removable chalk, tracing or tailoring marks;
- Slight pulls or movement in chiffon, net, organza, tissue, silk, lace or other delicate fabrics;
- Minor differences in dye lot, color, texture, weave, sheen or finish;
- Slight differences between designer campaign images and the delivered product; and
- Reasonable variations associated with handcrafted or bulk-produced garments.
Unstitched Products
Unstitched embroidered fabric and panels may contain excess threads, embroidery backing, unfinished edges, temporary markings and additional material intended to be trimmed, secured, lined and finished during the stitching process.
The appearance of an unstitched product before tailoring may differ from the completed garment shown in designer campaign images.
Loose interior threads or unfinished panel edges on an unstitched product are not automatically considered defects.
Color and Image Variations
We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately. However, colors and textures may appear different in person due to:
- Studio or natural lighting;
- Photography and editing;
- Screen and device settings;
- Designer campaign styling;
- Fabric sheen;
- Dye lots;
- Production batches; and
- Indoor or outdoor viewing conditions.
Designer campaign images are provided as visual references.
Accessories, jewelry, footwear, undershirts, linings, slips, trousers, styling pieces or other items shown in photographs are not included unless expressly listed in the written product description.
Measurements and Sizing
Measurements may vary slightly due to manual measuring, tailoring and production methods.
A reasonable measurement tolerance may occur.
Sizing may also differ between designers, brands, garment styles and production batches.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable size chart and product description before purchasing.
Fit preference, including a preference for a looser, tighter, longer or shorter fit, is not automatically considered a defect.
Designer and Manufacturer Variations
House of Huda sources products from independent designers, brands, suppliers and manufacturers.
Minor differences in packaging, labels, embroidery density, embellishment placement, fabric finish or production details may occur between batches.
When House of Huda provides stitching or customization for original designer fabric, the finished garment may include a House of Huda size or stitching label identifying the party that completed the stitching service.
This does not mean that the original designer fabric has been replaced or reproduced.
Garment Care
Embroidered, embellished, formal and delicate garments should be handled carefully and professionally dry-cleaned unless the product description states otherwise.
House of Huda is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by:
- Washing;
- Soaking;
- Machine drying;
- Improper dry cleaning;
- Direct ironing over embroidery or embellishments;
- Perfume, makeup, deodorant or chemicals;
- Snagging, friction or pulling;
- Improper storage;
- Alterations performed by another party;
- Attempted repair; or
- Normal wear and tear.
Material Defects
This Product Disclaimer does not exclude a genuinely substantial manufacturing defect, incorrect product or substantial workmanship error.
Claims involving a materially defective or incorrect item must be reported and reviewed in accordance with our official Return and Refund Policy.
A product will not be considered defective solely because it contains minor loose threads, interior thread ends, limited embellishment displacement, slight color variation, removable tailoring marks or another normal characteristic described above.
